Basement 1. Notification of Commencement
Basement 2. Inspection at 1st underpin
Basement 3. Inspection at midway through underpins
Basement 4. Inspection at floor reinforcement and drainage and sumps in
Basement 5. Inspection at drained membrane system installed including pump sets
Basement 6. Notification of Completion

N.B. Additional inspections may be allowed for after the 1st underpin inspection where larger basements are being constructed that may additional have supporting steel work.

Installer certificates required: Electrical, Unvented cylinder, Gas appliance, Damp Proofing Guarantee

NewBuildDwell 7. Inspection at internal partitions and boarding out
NewBuildDwell 8. Inspection at 2ndfix MEP
NewBuildDwell 9. Inspection at 95% completed fire doors and smoke alarms
NewBuildDwell 10. Notification of Completion

Installer certificates required: Electrical, Unvented cylinder, Gas appliance, HETAS, Air Test, Carbon Calcs and EPC, Sound Test, Water Calculation

File Photo required: Damp proof membrane to ground floor slab

Chimney 1. Notification of Commencement
Chimney 2. Inspection of supporting steel in place
Chimney 3. Notification of Completion

Installer certificates required: None

File Photo required: Fire rated plaster-boarding around the new structure

Roof 1. Notification of Commencement
Roof 2. Inspection at insulation 50% in and any renewed structure viewable
Roof 3. Inspection at roofing finished surface complete including perimeter venting
Roof 4. Notification of Completion

Installer certificates required: Copy of guarantee

File Photo required: Of completed roof

Garage 1. Notification of Commencement
Garage 2. Inspection of damp proofing and insulated lining out
Garage 3. Inspection of any structure and 2nd fix
Garage 4. Inspection at 95% complete windows and ventilation
Garage 5. Notification of Completion
Installer certificates required: Electrical

Struct 1. Notification of Commencement
Struct 2. Inspection When footings excavated and any rebar in place
Struct 3. Inspection when steels or timber structure in place
Wall 3. Notification of Completion

Installer certificates required: Electrical
